Great Fire of London Cakes - Class 2 enjoyed baking cakes and learning about the baking techniques of creaming, folding and piping. Best of all they each had a yummy cake to enjoy!
Class 4 have been learning about bridges with links to the Industrial Revolution. We have learnt using spaghetti the structures. Then using wood and hot glue made our structures
Creating Inuit boats - kayaks or umiaks - The children studied the different types of Inuit boat and designed and made their own. We then tested them to see how well they floated and how well waterproofed they were.
Class 4 are continuing their exploration of how to build a strong bridge.
Class 2 making, painting and designing a model of the Titanic using reclaimed materials February 2023- we sorted out the boxes we needed, then placed them where we wanted them to be. We used masking tape to make sure the boxes were stuck together. Then each group painted different parts of the ship and with support from parents added the finishing touches!!
