Class 4 are continuing their exploration of how to build a strong bridge.
Class 4 have been learning about bridges. This links with their Industrial Revolution project. The children were given 6 sheets of large paper; one metre of sticky tape and asked to build a bridge with a span of at least 40cm. The children then tested their bridges to see how much weight they would take before collapsing into the chilly depths of the river below.
Class 2 making, painting and designing a model of the Titanic using reclaimed materials February 2023- we sorted out the boxes we needed, then placed them where we wanted them to be. We used masking tape to make sure the boxes were stuck together. Then each group painted different parts of the ship and with support from parents added the finishing touches!!
