Class 3 Learning about Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing
Children worked in pairs to think about how our emotions and feelings change over the course of the day. They used a range of words to describe their feelings.
Anita from Safer Essex Roads Partnership led a Year 5 Road Safety workshop. The children carried out a local walk, focusing on risks and avoiding hazards.
St Peter's celebrated 'Yellow Day', focusing on our mental health and talking about our feelings.
Some of Class 1 have been enjoying their 'Lego' Club.
St Peter's enjoyed learning about keeping safe on Halloween and Fireworks Night; Neil from Essex Fire Safety led a whole school assembly; the children asked great questions to further their understanding.
EYFS children have been learning to express their emotions using the colour monster.
The children find their peg and attach it to the colour monster that represents how they are feeling.
Year 6 present a wonderfully emotional farewell to the school; they spoke with confidence and heart.
Class 4 completed their Young Leaders Award by organising a local car wash for their final community project; the children raised £141.10 for Cancer Research UK.
